Review by hotel critic
The Best Western Hotel München Airport is a basic hotel with a convenient location outside Erding, close to the S-Bahn station. The rooms are spacious, and the staff, especially the daytime receptionist, is friendly and welcoming. The underground garage is a plus. The value for money is reasonable, especially during peak seasons like Oktoberfest.Although the hotel is about 15-20 minutes' drive from the airport, it serves as a practical place to stay for proximity to Munich International Airport. The restaurant offers a sufficient selection for basic dining needs, and the breakfast buffet is decent. While the rooms may not offer scenic views, they are suitable for a short stay, particularly when convenience is a priority. In terms of amenities, the Best Western Hotel München Airport provides a full breakfast buffet and serves Bavarian and international meals in the Red Baron restaurant. The hotel's location in the calm neighborhood of Erding allows for easy access to the Munich trade fair site. Despite some shortcomings, such as limited dining options and small room sizes, the hotel's practicality and welcoming staff make it a suitable choice for travelers needing proximity to the airport.
